Charlotte Sparre

Charlotte Sparre graduated from Elsinore business school in 1989, and thereafter travelled to France to further her studies. After returning home to Denmark, she trained as  a marketing assistant at Scandinavian Airlines.

Whilst there, Charlotte cultivated her interest in fashion with her own little business, making and selling hair clips and bows, initially alongside her studies at the local market then later to her colleagues at SAS.

On a vacation to China, Charlotte bought a large amount of luxurious silk, which she used to sew scarves and sold them to friends. Interest in her scarves was enormous, so she decided to pursue the dream of having her own business and at the age of 24, she headed back to the East to buy more silk.

Through intensive marketing efforts and with beautiful collections Charlotte Sparre soon achieved both recognition and success with her brand.

After several seasons, Charlotte further developed her collections. What started as collections of silk scarves became what is now a complete clothing line. To showcase her collections on the catwalk, Charlotte has worked with the likes of: Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell, Alek Wek and Cara Delevingne.
